rainbows

I stayed late at work today. When I opened my door to leave my classroom, I was greeted with this beautiful rainbow. I went back into my classroom and grabbed my camera (not a great camera but it did the job).

I couldn’t decide on just one photo…

  1. Wow!
    That’s beautiful!
Double rainbows are the best of all, as they give you double the blessing and double the luck. So, there you are…it was meant to be for you.
I’d say this is a sure sign that your health is going nowhere but up to terrific!
I was driving over the Pali from Honolulu to Kailua one afternoon, and I saw a huge, wide shimmering rainbow ahead of me on the highway. As I drove closer and closer, it dawned on me that I was about to drive somewhere under the rainbow. And that’s exactly what happened,…I drove right underneath it. It was spectacular, and I felt like the angels were smiling on me like crazy!

  2. I’m with Brenda, how lucky to see a double rainbow. I think I’ve only seen one of those in my life. It’s always special to see a single or a double. And what a beautiful locale for a school!

  4. Brenda, I am very lucky to live here. I see rainbows all the time and most of them are double rainbows. I find it is a driver’s hazard, at least for me because I always find myself staring at the rainbow instead of keeping my eyes on the road.
Leslie, it was one of those “wow” moments. The light at that time of the day really made the rainbow stand out.
Hola Kathy!! I have been loving all of your posts! Enjoy the rest of your trip! Glad you liked the rainbows :)
Annie, you will just have to come here someday! I remember the first time I saw a double rainbow. It was in Colorado on a hiking/camping trip when I was 20.
    menehune, thanks :)
