  1. To answer your comment on my list for famous people I have met:
Fred Savage (the Wonder Years kid) – when he was still a kid and easily recognizable
    Steve Perry (from Journey)
I waited on both of them back in my waitress days.
I also met a bunch of authors this year…I even had dinner with Garth Stein and Josh Henkin.
And yes, the next time we head for the North Shore I’ll let you know!

  2. Softdrink, I definitely agree on #23. Wow, you have met a few interesting people. I loved the Wonder Years. I have seen quite a few famous people but have never met anyone (at least yet).
Since the big surf on the North Shore is in the winter when I work, I just might have to be “sick” the next time you come here, unless of course you are here during my break :)
Leslie, are you doing a list?
Sandra, I have been in the paper a few times – a 4th of July 3-legged race picture when I was little, a softball team photo (sort of like little league for girls), oh and I was a cheerleader in High School, so there have been a few cheerleading photos – I lived in a small town. AND when I was in college, I had my photo taken while doing speech therapy with a little girl in a preschool class setting. Funny thing is I HATE to have my photo taken.
