Great list, Girasoli!
When and why was your photo in the newspaper?

To answer your comment on my list for famous people I have met:
Fred Savage (the Wonder Years kid) – when he was still a kid and easily recognizable
Steve Perry (from Journey)
I waited on both of them back in my waitress days.
I also met a bunch of authors this year…I even had dinner with Garth Stein and Josh Henkin.
And yes, the next time we head for the North Shore I’ll let you know!

Softdrink, I definitely agree on #23. Wow, you have met a few interesting people. I loved the Wonder Years. I have seen quite a few famous people but have never met anyone (at least yet).
Since the big surf on the North Shore is in the winter when I work, I just might have to be “sick” the next time you come here, unless of course you are here during my break :)
Leslie, are you doing a list?
Sandra, I have been in the paper a few times – a 4th of July 3-legged race picture when I was little, a softball team photo (sort of like little league for girls), oh and I was a cheerleader in High School, so there have been a few cheerleading photos – I lived in a small town. AND when I was in college, I had my photo taken while doing speech therapy with a little girl in a preschool class setting. Funny thing is I HATE to have my photo taken.
