During my visit to Rome a few years ago, I was heading to the Castel Sant’ Angelo one morning. On the way, this elementary school caught my eye.
I wonder how old the building is? I wonder how long the school has been open? I wonder what the rooms look like inside the building? I wonder what it is like to work at this school and what it is like to attend this school as a child?
WOW – what a neat find. I bet that there would be so much historical interest within that building.

Hi Girasoli, cool looking school. I think it would be very special to teach and learn in this interesting looking building in Rome. Great photos and take on this week’s theme. Have a great day today!

Great looking structure. I would have the same wonderings as you have. Was the school open at the time you were there?

Such a great photo – love the school. It looks welcoming. I love to hear the sounds of school children when I travel – In Florence, it was a local high school and it was interesting to see the ‘latest’ fashion statements and the seemingly comfortable show of intimate affection! Ah, cultural differences – one of the many reasons I love to travel:o)

Wonderful! I wonder what it would be like to be a student in such a school?

Thanks everyone!
Eden, I don’t think so since it was July but am not sure. I did not see any kids around.
