wagon ride

Late Tuesday afternoon, we went out to Carpenter Ranch for a wagon ride and dinner. The original plan was to go on a sleigh ride but there was not enough snow on the ground so instead we went for a wagon ride. It was pretty chilly outside. Everyone bundled up, putting on extra layers, ski pants, jackets, hats, gloves/mittens, scarves, etc. There were about 40 people invited so we ended up going in two shifts. I was nice and warm sitting in a hay bale under a warm blanket. Beautiful horses, fun ride, nice scenery, and great company.

  1. Hi Girasoli, wow! This is soooo cool! I love the photos that you took. The horses and surroundings are really beautiful. I have never been to Colorado and now you’ve put it on my radar. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas with your family. I’m also wishing for more snow for you.
Wishing you a very Happy, Safe and Healthy New Year!

  2. Beautiful horses. That looks so similar to the terrain where I grew up. Hope you had fun, what a change from your regular winters in Hawaii!

Kathy, the mountain towns in Colorado are so cool! I have a soft spot for Steamboat but there are a few great places to visit. Definitely, add it to you list. Summertime is also amazing!
