We’re in!

It didn’t turn out the way we all imagined it to turn out. We were ahead in the 9th inning with 2 outs. One more out and the Red Sox would be celebrating their AL East championship on the field at Yankee Stadium… and then the Yankees hit a walk off grand slam. No celebration on the field, but thanks to the Orioles beating the Blue Jays, the Red Sox clinched the AL East anyways.

This is my first Red Sox post this year… not that I haven’t been watching and rooting as always.

With this being the final year for David Ortiz, it makes it extra special for the Red Sox to make it to the playoffs.
