Wow! Postcard picture perfect! When I was there in 2001, I missed going all the way to the top but next time I’ll make sure to do the hike. Thank you for posting these gorgeous images!

Leslie, it is indeed a beautiful place.
Kathy, I hope you do get there some day soon. Glad you enjoyed the photos. I have to say though that it is even more amazing in person.
María, I did the same thing the first time I visited Portofino. I have to thank Leslie once again for mentioning her visit to the Castello Brown. Otherwise, I would have never visited and enjoyed the incredible views.

I have always loved this series of photos that you have taken. It reminds me a little bit of Villefranche sur Mer in France except much more green.

Kim. For some reason, I thought you had visited this part of Italy.
Marta, I went back to look at your photos of Villefranche sur Mer once more. If I ever get back to the French Riviera, I am definitely going to check Villefranche sur Mer out. It looks like a beautiful place to hang out and explore.
Sandra and Carin, I hope you get there some day. It is so beautiful.

Hi Girasoli,
Many thanks for your reply. I have contacted Slow Travel and am waiting for them to get back to me.
While checking out Castello Brown, I found out that Wayne Rooney and his new wife (Manchester United Footballer), spent their honeymoon at the Castle – it cost them £24,000!! Too much for me, but maybe they had full staff!.
Anyway, I’ll let you know how I get on.
Thanks again,
Keep posting your wonderful ‘photos.
Hilary
