  1. These are fun to read. I love coffee ice cream too. And what in the world is Greek Gods Baklava ice cream? I’ve never heard of it and it sounds awesome!

  2. Hi Girasoli, interesting meme! You know what’s kind of interesting is that since I read your blogs, I probably could’ve answered a couple of these for you! :) I knew the answer to 23 (and if was favorite team I know the answer to that too), 30 . . .
Except for one that I did on the comments on Anne’s blog I haven’t really done any memes. I think it is because I can never decide on all the answers. I do enjoy reading them though. Thank you for sharing a bit about yourself and have a great day!

  3. Very interesting girasoli. I love reading these meme on the blogs. I agree with you on many things, especially 30 and 32. I love the smell of coffee too even though I don’t really drink it.

  4. Girasoli, you are waaaay too modest — you have a special talent for blogging, most definitely a strong talent for photography, and certainly for picking colours (purple really is the best of all possible colours!)
I love your fav foods list, and envy you your ice cream!

  5. We’re the same on 2,4,5,7,8,10, 12, 21, 26, 30, and 37.
I’d never, never, bungee jump, love to roast my own coffee on a camp stove in the garage, and still remember eating gelato for my first time (all the way back in 1980) at Saint Mark’s Square in Venice. We were sitting in an outdoor cafe with white tablecloths being served this incredible gelato by a waiter in a tux. I was only 23 and thought this was really cool.
When you mentioned the book you’re reading, I thought about the one I just checked out at Hanapepe. It’s Ciao, America (An Italian Discovers the US) by Beppe Severgnini. Have you read it?
    Best Aloha,
    Rob

  6. Annie, I think you were in Venice when I wrote about Greek Gods. I categorized it under food or search Greek God. I have links to each picture, including the baklava ice cream, which I just found.
Kathy, a few were pretty easy for me, including the ones you could have answered for me. I did have to think a little for a few of the questions. I usually need to be in the mood or inspired to do one of these memes. They are good posts though when blogging every day for a month.
Candi, too bad there aren’t any good gelato places here. I guess though it probably is a blessing because if there were, I would be eating much too much gelato.
sandra, you are so kind. I loved your purple comment :) And I just love the way you and Anne and Jerry spell colours!!
Rob, we sure do have a lot of things in common! What great memories from Venice. I have both the Italian and English versions of Ciao. America. Fun book to read!

  7. Thanks, I just found the post and you’re right, I missed that one while I was in Venice. I’ve seen that brand of yogurt in a few places but had no idea about the ice cream! Chocolate fig has my name all over it.
I just recently had an amazing gelato…Cinnamon flavor. It’s an organic brand, made in Texas, of all places, but I am blanking on the brand name right now. I put a tiny scoop in my coffee and it was wonderful!

  8. Girasoli, you make me laugh! It CAN be hard to use the Cdn spellings of words like colour and labour — most spellchex are based on U.S. dictionaries and try their best to override our British-based spelling system.

  9. Annie, without google? I can’t imagine! How did we survive?? :) Thanks for the tip on PJ Madison’s. I will have to keep my eye out for it.
sandra, I can imagine how spellcheck could be annoying.
